Lotus by Quarck – The First Exclusive Collector Card from Foil Tavern

Foil Tavern’s first collector card, Lotus, comes with no price tag, no AI, and no expectations. Just pure passion for the TCG universe.

Introduction

At Foil Tavern, we believe that every Lotus collector card tells a story. That is why we are proud to launch our first exclusive collector card, randomly inserted as a complimentary bonus in select Amazon FBA HexaCase shipments. This is not guaranteed and is not part of the HexaCase Amazon product listing. The talented independent artist Quarck hand-illustrated this card, titled Lotus. It is not for sale. In fact, its value comes from what it means, not from a price tag.

Only 500 copies will ever exist. As a result, each one is a tribute to what truly drives the TCG collector: a love for the artwork, a connection to the lore and a deep pride in the cards we protect.

Not a product. Not a promo. Just a gift for the community

To begin with, here is what you need to know.

A total of 505 Lotus cards have been printed:
500 are serialized, individually numbered from 001/500 to 500/500.
– 5 are unnumbered. One is reserved exclusively for the artist, and the remaining four are kept for internal marketing purposes.

Only the 500 serialized editions will be randomly included inside HexCase shipments.

Lotus is not part of the HexCase product, and it is not available for purchase. It holds no commercial value for us. It is a tribute to the collector TCG community, created purely as an artistic gesture. No HexCase guarantees a card, and receiving one does not affect the product price or legal scope. It is not a feature. It is a moment.

Hand-drawn. Never AI. Always human.

In a time where AI-generated content is everywhere, Lotus makes a clear statement.
True collector card art should come from real artists, not from algorithms.

Quarck Studio fully hand-illustrated this card, a creator who lives and breathes TCG culture. Moreover, this is just the beginning. At Foil Tavern, we aim to give more illustrators the opportunity to showcase their most powerful work, as long as it fits within the Foil Tavern universe.

No AI. No mass production. Only curated passion from human hands.

You won’t buy it. Instead, you might discover it.

There will never be a “Buy Lotus” button. It will not be listed on our site or sold through any channel. You cannot add it to cart or request one directly.

But if you are lucky enough to receive one, you will know it is something special.

Ultimately, that moment of surprise is exactly what we are aiming for. We want to bring back the magic of the drop and the joy of receiving something unique, not something manufactured for upselling.

HexCase: Designed to protect your most treasured card

If Lotus is the card you pull, then naturally, HexCase is the place it belongs.

Designed for TCG collectors who understand the difference between basic sleeves and a true display case cardHexCase offers the following features:

  • Premium acrylic with a clean magnetic seal
  • A modular, frameless aesthetic that highlights your art
  • A compact format that elevates a single card in your shelf card setup

In other words, it is more than just storage. It is a way to present what matters with intention.

Who is Quarck Studio?

Behind the creation of Lotus is Quarck Studio, an independent illustrator and longtime member of the TCG community. Known for blending detailed linework with fantasy elements, Quarck finds inspiration in classic trading card sets, retro games and mythic symbolism.

You can explore more of his universe at quarck-studio.com. As a result, his vision turns Lotus into more than just a card. It becomes a signed fragment of Foil Tavern’s creative spirit.

Why Collector Cards Still Matter

For many, collecting TCG is not just about gameplay. It is about identity. It is about the thrill of opening a pack, the pride in protecting a foil rare, and the lore behind each creature or spell. In a digital-first world, physical collector cards remain meaningful anchors. Therefore, they are tangible proof of a universe that lives on your shelf card.

Cards like Lotus exist to honor that ritual. Instead of meta relevance or resale value, they only need intention. That is exactly what we are building at Foil Tavern.
